For Moms, By Moms... Acholi Beads

Dear Friends and Family,

We wouldn't be here without our Moms. So as Mother's Day sneaks around the corner (May 10th!) it's time to start thinking about how much all those diaper changes were worth.

Of course we can never repay our Moms, but this Mother's Day you can show your Mom the appreciation she deserves by giving her beautiful Acholi Beads jewelry that supports Mothers in need on the far side of the planet. Through the power of Fair Trade and Socially Proactive Business, the sale of Acholi Beads is transforming the lives of 16 mothers in Uganda.

$3 of all Acholi Beads sales from Sunshine Papier, except for May 9 at the Malawi Connection event, will go to support the BUMC youth Southern Africa Mission Pilgrimage (June 9-26).

If you are interested in purchasing Acholi Beads for a mother or special lady during these first days of summer, please contact me at:
sunshinepapier@gmail.com

I have some beads in stock, and will have more Wednesday of next week.

Mother's Day Video

If you give your Mom the gift of Acholi Beads, be sure to send her a link to our brand new Mother's Day video! We made it specifically to make Moms smile, and show them how significant their new jewelry is:

Other News
Acholi Beads has been accepted into the Fair Trade Federation! This is one of the highest distinctions available to Fair Trade jewelry companies, and we are honored.

And just in case you missed it, be sure to watch our first video, which shows you the story of our Ugandan partners in HD:

Thank you deeply for your loving support of our business and our partners in Uganda. We're excited to continue growing and touching more lives on both sides of the world.

Love,
Lanecia A. Rouse of Sunshine Papier & the Acholi Beads Family
